Building a School
ASC seeks to establish a primary school complex for children in Bor, South Sudan to bring education to this neglected population.
For nearly 40 years, the South Sudanese people have been deprived of any means of power – especially education. When South Sudan finally gained independence in 2011, very few leaders had any formal training. The few schools still open are poorly staffed and overcrowded. There are no books, no desks, and certainly no computers or libraries. With no access to education, the children of South Sudan have no hope to better their own lives, much less change their country. It is the mission of Africa Sunrise Communities to establish a primary school complex for children in Bor Town, South Sudan. With the opportunity for education, these children who have been disadvantaged for so long can begin to change their situation and their nation.Support This Project
